New York State Third Party

State Senate Candidates

It should be noted that if a third party endorses a candidate that is also endorsed by one of the two major parties, that candidate will be considered a major party candidate and will not be listed here.

Note: If you do not know the district in which you live, go to the "Links" section on the home page of this website. Double click on the link for the New York State Board of Elections. They have a section that will tell you what district you are in.

Candidates Please Note: If your campaign website or e-mail address where voters can get further information on you is not listed under your name, e-mail me at the address at the bottom of the Home Page so I can include it. Thank you.

Please note:

While it's important to vote in every election, this year's election is very important to the third parties in the State. That's because in the election for Governor, if a third party can get at least 50,000 votes for its candidate, they will have an automatic ballot line for the next four years. This means that their selected candidate will not have to worry about the Democrats or the Republicans challenging their petitions and being thrown off the ballot. Therefore, this year, if you must vote for a Republican or Democrat candidate for Governor, please consider voting for that person on a third party line so the vote will count for that third party. And if neither of the two major party candidates appeal to you, please vote for a third party candidate to help them reach that 50,000 vote level. Remember that New York State's third parties keep the election process open, increase debate and give voters a much larger choice of candidates than they would normally have. Thank you.

FINAL CANDIDATE LISTING - In case of multiple candidates within a district, order of appearance is random and should not be construed as an endorsement or ranking of any sort.
