Socialist Workers Party
Roger Calero - President/Alyson Kennedy - Vice-President

Note: Mr. Calero could not assume the position if elected since he is not a citizen of the United States. Because of this, some States will not list his name on the ballot. In those particular States, the SWP is submitting the name of James Harris, who is a natural born citizen, as the party's Presidential candidate.

The candidates in this section ARE NOT listed on a ballot line in New York State. However, they are still listed in enough other States so that it is possible for them to get elected by winning the necessary 270 electoral votes. They are listed here for informational purposes only in case the voter wishes to do a write-in vote. Please note that in order for write-in votes to actually count for the office of President in New York State, the candidate must file with the New York State Board of Elections a form that allows him or her to be listed as an official write-in candidate. This is because we don't vote directly for the Presidential candidate but rather for the Presidential electors, which is why no form is needed for other offices in the State. This form would contain the names of those presidential electors. Check under the candidate's name to see if the necessary form was filed with the State.
